From the Myspace of Blake Wilson (ex-Panicer Brent Wilson's brother):

Ex-panic member, Brent Wilson, will be interviewed by "Alternative Press Magazine" today for the upcoming issue, so keep an eye out for it as it will be superimposed with the interview of the current members. Brent won the law suit against his former mates, has begun school and recently bought a new guitar to summon his creative wits. It looks like what goes around comes around. Thanks to all of you who have been keeping up with all of the hullabaloo.

- Blake Wilson

LOL OK then, Brent. Good job on the lawsuit and loosing the puppy fat. I bet you're almost finished kicking yourself by now...

Bob from The Hush Sound has sent out a Myspace bulletin about the recent protests against Scientology:

There have been protests all over America recently against the right to practice religious freedom Claims have been made against scientology that i find very confusing and sad. America was formed with the idea that anyone who wanted to believe in a religion other than what was generally accepted would have the right to practice. However, lately people have reverted to cheap blows against the church of Scientology accusing them of terrible things...

I'm not religious because i haven't found a reason to be personally. However, I think religion can be a good thing. It gives people hope and can inspire in many good ways. Telling anyone that their religion is wrong and protesting is like going back in time to me. Whether you're Christian or Jewish or Muslim or whatever, then you should exercise tolerance not hatred.

Please be accepting because unwarranted discrimination is wrong. The last thing we need is more hatred in the world.

-bob

You bring up some good points, but sorry, Bob. I love you, but I think you need to be taught the difference between a religion and a cult.

Set of Nine in the Afternoon

Panic's video for their new single "Nine In The Afternoon" was just premiered. Check out their sexy longjohns and staches over HERE on mtv.com, which by the way I can't watch because I'm not in the US, which is so completely suck-worthy.

NEGLECT! Call PETA! Call DSS! Call the IRS! Call AAA and rescue that puppy from inside that car! Ashlee Simpson and bf Pete Wentz were spotted shopping at Target in Los Angeles yesterday WHILE they left their pet bulldog in the car! I think this is a strong indication that these two are not ready for kids!

The Josephine Collective's new album (possibly titled Chicken Soup for the Communist Toddler) is set to drop in April.

Lately the band has been touring the south in the vicinity of their home state of Kansas. Dillon was kind enough to confirm via e-mail that JoCo will be playing wider national dates around the release date!

Q: Are you planning to do a wider tour after the album drops? We up here in New York City would love to rock out with you all again.

A: a show is definitely being booked up there in april, and hopefully we'll be there sooner than that

As you might have noticed in this new pic, JoCo has finally managed to get some merch. XD

Buy their new pheonix logo shirt and hoodie at Smartpunk.

From the Cobra's myspace:

Yo dudes! ( suarez here)

I have some treats and a sweet little update.

We got some videos I thought you guys just had to see.

We got a little "making of the video" for "The City is at war". Thought you would like to see it.

As many of you saw, we got to introduce a lot of the videos that played between bands on "The Young Wild Things Tour" on the good old jumbo tron. We got a clip of the blooper reels! As you can imagine, they bloopers are pretty damn sweet and we wanted you to see it!

Oh wait.. a little bit of info some of you might be interested in. IF you have not yet heard, we WILL be playing Good old Bamboozle May 3rd! I know, I know, I'm pretty excited too, the only time I had been to that fest was when I had to guitar tech for EndeverAfter and I ended up at the redbull open bar until they closed..

And for my good friends across the pond, we will be performing at "Give it a name fest" Sheffield Arena May 10th and London on the 11th.

See you all soon!
